Hello and Welcome! I'm a British wedding and family photographer in the south of France. I specialise in friendly, relaxed imagery that captures natural and spontaneous photos with a retro camera-film-style look. I create image collections that - above all else - capture genuine emotion in a way that's natural, light, and timeless.
Depending on the time of year, I flit between the French Riviera, where I live with my wife and children, and Warwickshire in the UK, where I'm from. A former photographer for the UNHCR, my style is led by authenticity, sentimentality, and spontaneity. I care deeply about every image collection I deliver and love creating and sharing images I know will be treasured forever.
I love the look of analogue photography and treat images to render like camera film. This can be done to taste, but personally I love the warmer tones and the look of imagery that with a little grain added to the texture.
To see my latest work, be sure to see my blog, and if would like anymore information, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
The unique look of my photography is inspired by camera film. When one looks at these types of exposures, it can be as though the images are somewhere between a dream and a memory, far removed from the harsh realism of modern digital cameras.
My look is a timeless, subtle, and faithful way to portray all things sentimental. I love discovering artwork (in any medium!) where it’s difficult to guess when it was created – that’s the true hallmark of timelessness.
My experience and friendly, easy-going relationships with people allow me to create amazing results remarkably quickly. I never force people’s behaviour to fit my vision and instead give people the space and freedom to laugh, have fun, and be themselves during photo-shoots.
The experience of working with me is reflected in the feel of my imagery: authentic images that resonate with real sentiment. If they need to be, couple shoots during weddings can be done between 10 and 25 minutes, meaning they can be organised without being too disruptive on people’s time-tables.
A former UN photographer who now specialises in wedding, couple, and milestone photography, I spend my time between my home town in the Midlands and the South of France.
