About Me

I'm Pete, a father of two who lives in Nice, France, for much of the year, and also Warwickshire in the UK. Photography has been my passion since I bought my first camera, a Nikon D80, in 2008 and I've dedicated years to honing my skills and understanding its intricacies, and ensuring everyone receives the highest level of service and care.

I'm hyper-focused on creating beautiful imagery that connects with people. I'm very much driven by the power of photography to define our memories, our relationships, and to brighten our lives and our homes. In an age of 'fast media', many of the images and memories we create are eventually lost in the cloud - disappearing until maybe, one day, an algorithm deem it necessary to remind you.

I'm passionate about creating images with the magic to compel people to take them out of the digital realm and into print - where they can adorn walls and bookshelves. A big part of this is creating a fun, relaxing, atmosphere while I'm photographing - which is then reflected back in the imagery itself. I believe that the best photographs come from genuine connections, so I strive to build a relationship of trust and friendship with everyone I work with.

I care deeply about every photoshoot and every client - ensuring I leave nothing to chance and that I give as much help and advice to clients as possible.

My Background

I began my career as a newspaper journalist and spent seven years working on newspapers across the Midlands in the UK. After this I moved into public relations, then graphic design, and marketing.

In 2018 my family moved to Tunisia in North Africa where I was a stay-at-home dad for our one year old child while my wife worked full-time. In Tunisia I eventually began working with another photographer to establish a wedding photography business and also photographed for NGO's with work being published by several major news and political organisations. In 2021 we moved to France where I set up as self-employed.
